  • Passion Pit – Sleepyhead (Unofficial Video)

Above is an Unofficial Video for Passion Pit’s ‘Sleepyhead‘ single. Like the Familjen video I posted a while back, this clip does a great job of using vintage/archived film clips to create something new and original. There is something foreign about some of these clips that feels odd and relevant at the same time.

Either way I’ve discovered and rediscovered some noisy grainy rock this past week…somewhat appropriate for the week? First, The Soft Pack is fun! I saw them last week in Philly with a couple dozen people…and I liked it! Below is […]

  • Althea & Donna

The new music jitters always add a little flavor and spice to an otherwise dull, cold, rainy winter evening…and most often all it takes is a little digging. This evening while browsing the myspace of Mulatu Astatke, a very well known Ethio-jazz musician (who I discovered for the first time last year thanks to the […]

  • The Other Side…of the Pacific

Just last week I returned from 5 weeks of traveling around Australia, New Zealand & Samoa. During my time there I would occasionally snap a video clip with my snap shot camera in hopes of cutting together a little short clip…well here it is! But first, here are my thoughts… Traveling is something I’ve had […]

  • Paperboys

A couple days ago I stumbled upon a blog-post that made chills run down my spine. A liberal prank group, The Yes Men, created a fake (but very real looking) version of the New York Times dated July 4th, 2009 & distributed them across the region for free. The peoples reactions are priceless and the […]
