BOYTOY is another band from Brooklyn, but to me they are much much more than that…They are the living, breathing, shoegazing reincarnation of “my best friends’ band”. BOYTOY is the newest project from bestie (sorry) Saara Untracht-Oakner, formerly of You Can Be A Wesley, Glen Van Dyke and Matthew Gregory. This years SXSW was my first chance to see them LIVE, since the band has yet to make the cross country trip to play on the sunny side. Below is a short that I shot and edited of the band playing their single “Shallow Town” around town.
