When I first saw video in late 2015 of what now is known as the Surf Ranch I had a hard time believing my own eyes. I also had this deep believe that one day my time would come…and a decade later I received an invitation from my friend Dario, co-founder of Slowtide, with that coveted invite. Of course there was a fee to be paid and it actually gave me pause. Was I ready? Was I in good enough shape? Was my bank account in the right place to be so frivolous with my hard earned savings? The answers to these questions ranged from no to maybe for a few days until the original answers began to transform into yes. Not because circumstances changed but my mindset did.
