The new music jitters always add a little flavor and spice to an otherwise dull, cold, rainy winter evening…and most often all it takes is a little digging. This evening while browsing the myspace of Mulatu Astatke, a very well known Ethio-jazz musician (who I discovered for the first time last year thanks to the film Broken Flowers), I stumbled upon this video of Althea & Donna. After watching I hope you’ll agree that it well deserves a couple of minutes of your time…a classic gem. Enjoy!
