Our deepest fear…

Below is an excerpt from Return to Love, a book written by Marianne Williamson. This was posted on the ANP Blog almost two months ago, but I wanted to post it here, hoping that a few more people would read it.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, whom am I
to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about
shrinking so that other people won’t
feel insecure around you.
You were born to make manifest the glory of God.
That is within us.
It’s not just some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

I appreciate it and will read the book . Most excelllent. My somewhat fleeting experience with Reality concurs ; gratefully accepting the abundance and good that sustains all, we do actually change everyone around us. Check out ‘Midnight Tea” when you get a chance. I can imagine you’ll like it.
