Last week I got an unexpected call from my buddy Nik at 2one5 inviting me to link up with a few Technine pros and help show them some spots around Philly. Needless to say it was a privilege to kick it with those guys and help them do work! I can’t show you much but be sure to look for the next Finger on Da Trigger release…hopefully a couple clips from Philly make the cut!
We’ve had a record setting amount of snow here in Philadelphia this year! While most of the city sighs with agony and continues to dig out, a few of us “lucky ones” really know how to enjoy a freezing, snowy winter! I’m that dude on the snowboard. Video by the fantastic Pete Herron!

I finished up the 2008 Jetty Skateboard Tour Video last week…Have a look!
My desk has been covered with miniDV tapes as of late…I’m just finishing up final touches to the edit of the Jetty Skateboard Tour footage. Later this week I’ll be jumping into editing footage from the Second Annual Jetty Clam Jam, which was held this past weekend in epic conditions! After that I’ll be tackling the long overdue footage from a music video shoot I did with You Can Be A Wesley this past Summer! As you can imagine there is a considerable amount of dust gathering on all of these un-edited tapes! Look forward to plenty of video action as I blow off the dust and get these edits finished in the next week or two!
The 2008 Belmar Pro kicks off tomorrow and runs through the weekend. Above is a graphic I did for some t-shirts, which will be available exclusively at the event this weekend! If you are in New Jersey take a trip to Belmar to see some top surf talent!
My good friend Jerry has been busy traveling & filming for his upcoming video project (working title Spectacular Adventures). He caught some killer frames in the Outer Banks this past week and I wanted to share. Some of these waves are bone crushing! I’m excited to be working with Jerry on the new film, and I promise you…it will not disappoint!
I am a complete dork. I LOVE Flickr and their photo service and now they have stepped it up by allowing videos to be added! They are trying something different, by limiting videos to 90 seconds and hoping people will upload things that are closer to video portraits, rather than your standard YouTube clips, rants, & garbage. Extended photographs is a term they use on their website. I like this idea…I’m not sure if these are close to what they were hoping to see but these clips sure do bring a lot of joy to me. Have more fun and ride crazy bicycles!
Due to injury snowboard season wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be, however I did squeeze in a few FUN days on the mountain! Until next year…
